Thank you for the questions!

We definitely plan on adding more features to the backtest tool. The first version was meant to be as simple as possible so people weren’t confused on how to run a backtest and get results. The next version should be integrated more closely to each users account, have more data on each exchange, and provide more in depth results. We understand there are power users out there like yourself who are ready for something to dig into. We want to give you the tools to do so.

The backtest tool is custom software. We collected data from exchanges in order to populate the history. As we continue to collect more data from exchanges, we will be able to add more assets. Since our tool isn’t open source, we don’t have ways for users to look into our code right now. We have had discussions with a few users who are interested in building features on top of the rebalance tool, so we may look into ways we can open source parts of the project so anyone can add features.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
