Hi Michael,

Great questions! Thank you for asking.

What happens when new coins are listed to the exchange? Will they automatically go into the index without us having a chance to remove them? For example binance doesnt have Dogecoin and I would excude it if it did but currently i couldnt exclude form my index?

The new coins will be added into your index if they fit within your specified number of assets. Since we add assets manually, this means we will announce when these new listings take place. If this is not enough notice, we can also try to find a way which would allow for the exclusion of new assets into the index. However, this is not implemented at this time, so we would be happy to hear your feedback on how this could be implemented!

How is the allocation divided amongst the other currencies when there is a high min or a low max?

If you select the option to weight by market cap, any asset that is larger than the maximum or less than the minimum will be set to the respective min or max. The remaining assets will then be used to calculate their new weights by market cap. If there are any that then exceed the min or max, they will be set to their min or max and the process will be continued. Therefore, the result is an allocation that weights the remaining assets (that are not min or max) by market cap. Any asset that is at the min or max is excluded from this market cap calculation for the remaining assets.

Please let me know if this makes sense!

Thanks,
The Shrimpy Team
