1. The application is completely free. This means no fees, no payments, no membership… Literally free. There’s no catch. We are focusing on growing our user base at this time. We have plans for making money in the future, but we are still experimenting with different models to find what would work best for our users. We want everyone to use Shrimpy. This means it must be reasonable.
2. Right now the benefit is we get users. The more users we have, the more things we can do to create value for you. Eventually that will translate to us making money, but we are focused on growth right now.
3. Each key is encrypted and uses FIPS 140–2 validated hardware security modules (HSMs) to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your Exchange API keys. We are also a registered company in the US consisting of talented engineers from Amazon, Facebook, Samsung, and NASA. This means we have a reputation to uphold.
